It is important to realize that it is necessary to grow the beard, especially in the early stages. You may be discouraged, frustrated, and receive comments from friends and family. But it is very rewarding and worthwhile that your success in growing a beard depends to a large extent on your commitment and your genetic make-up.
But before we get into the subject, we need to prepare two simple things: you must have a beard comb, and the second is either a beard trimmer or a pair of scissors, third you need a Beard Oil or Beard Balm.
Beard maintenance to achieve the perfect results, you must take a few simple steps before trimming your beard. First, make sure your beard is not dirty. They will want to rinse and shampoo. Dry your beard, because it is easier when you are dry.
If you use scissors, you can start by stroking your beard in all directions of hair growth, untangling hair and helping to prepare it for cutting. Start brushing under one ear and use your scissors to cut your hair through the comb.
Then change the comb to the other side of your face before finally working on the hair directly under your chin.In general, scissors are only suitable for the cutting length and they do not work so well if you want to thin or rejuvenate a thick beard.
Beard trimmers are not as skilled as scissors because the trimmers are designed to stretch, sculpt and cut the length of the beard. There are several types of beard trimmers currently available on the market that allows you to look for one that suits your needs.
Most beard trimmers have differently sized selectors that allow you to cut your hair to different lengths. Always plan the amount you need to cut before cutting and make sure the trimmer is the most suitable one. When the desired attachment has been added, you can start trimming.
As with the scissors, you should start right under the ear and work towards the cheek. Never rush your cut when using a beard trimmer. Mistakes can occur too often, and if you cut off too much, you’ll have to wait a while for it to grow again before you get used to taking your time cutting.
You should have the habit of using a fine-toothed comb to remove hair from your hair when cutting. A beard trimmer can also be used to define the shape of your beard. If you want, you can use the trimmer without attachments to get a stubble look.
Most people like to use longer attachments because it makes it less obvious when a beard is not symmetrical. Always take your time, as shaving your beard generally results in an uneven, unclean finish.
The smartest thing should be to grab the trimmer easily and let it flow over your natural facial contours. But do not be afraid, after some practice, you will easily learn the ability to prune your beard and make it look fantastic.
So how do you go about it?
1. Wait until the beard has completely grown. This prevents your beard from appearing uneven after cutting.
2. Decide in advance what your beard should look like.
3. Shower and bathe your beard, but remember to completely dry your beard before you start cutting. It is well known that the beard, when wet, appears longer than it actually is, and thus could cause a person to cut more than necessary.
4. Comb your beard several times with your comb in the direction of your hair growth, so that all hair pointing in the same direction, which makes the trimming easier. If you are using scissors, comb the area you want to cut, but move the comb away from your face and then cut the hair that pops out through the teeth of the comb (you’ve probably seen your hairdresser this used) technique).
Of course, this is not necessary if you are using a beard trimmer because you only have to wear one of the protectors that come with it.
5. If you are using a trimmer or a pair of scissors, it is best to start small. Remember, you can always cut more, but you cannot go back too much after cutting. If you are using a trimmer, first use a low trim level and always use your guard (the only exception is when defining a neckline) and either increase the power or use a shorter guard if you pass the area again if you use a pair of scissors, do not cut too much of the length of the hair that pops out.
6. Start cutting below your ears by following the lines of your jawbone to your chin.
7. Now is the time to focus on the main part of the beard. Start from the neck area and trim from neck to chin on all sides, remembering to follow hair growth straight up and there you will have beard trimmed like a pro.
